I was born in Los Angeles, California, and I have lived in the Cleveland area since the age of three. I began coloring as a child, and I discovered my keen sense of color combinations at an early age.
I am a Shaker Heights High School graduate, and I earned my Bachelor’s Degree from Cleveland State University with a personally designed major, “Human Expression” which included a variety of art courses. I completed the two-year foundation coursework at the Cleveland Institute of Art. I also studied at LaCoste School of the Arts in France for a summer. I received a Master’s Degree in Art Education from Case Western Reserve University in Art Education, and I have a current Ohio Visual Art K-12 License. Currently, I teach Art K-8 part-time at a public charter school located in Tremont, Ohio.
I have worked in a variety of medium. I particularly love painting and mixed media collage. I also create plaster gauze sculptures, which received front page Coverage in the Sun News.
My hope is for you to enjoy my artwork, and through viewing it, that I bring some light and joy into the world.
